Another crisp, grey early Autumn day and I find myself mourning the loss of an indifferent summer.
 Ah well: every season has it's positive elements and Autumn in full sun is one of them. Sooo looking forward to experincing that!

Mid Feruary coming up at the speed of light (proof I'm getting older!) and there's still time to do the summery stuff.
To my shame I haven't been for one swim yet! I know!!
Actually I'm quite contect to sea-gaze for now. I love the constant movement,  moods, uncertainty, the ebb & flow & intercolour changes of this horizonless ocean that occurs on a daily basis just outside my door.
May I never take it for granted. Lterally and figuratively.

February begins & sunny Hawkes Bay is lookin' good!
While perusing through my art scans I came across an image I was commissioned to create for a business that included body piercing.
The brief was to create a mysterious other-world being incorporating selected jewellery pieces that were then literally pierced through the image/canvas!
I just loved creating this creature! I have an inkling that our Creator didn't just stop with lil' old earth when it came to producing life with all its myriad forms. There's an entire universe to play in!
